Here is some more information about my driving experience:

My car has the High Performance GC motor and controller upgrade.

I've averaged 24 miles of driving per day.  Total miles driven: almost 500 miles in 21 days of driving.

I usually drive at 30 mph with occasional "extended sprints" at 35 mph when needed.  With the combination of traffic, stop lights, and stop signs, I am in the flow of traffic on the streets I drive on.  I usually avoid the "fast" 35 mph speed limit roads or drive the in the right lane and get off asap.

Recently, I drove 25 miles and had 1 bar left. It took about 5.5 KwH to recharge overnight. (measured using the Kill-a-watt meter).  Most people are shocked to find out how LITTLE it costs to charge the Zenn (about 3 cents per mile).

I've become pretty good at finding outlets.  Opportunity charging is definitely the way to go.  It extends your range and from the information I've read, it increases the likelihood that the batteries will last the expected lifetime of 4 to 5 years.  (Lower depth of discharge increases lifetime of batteries).

The Yahoo group "NEVs" has a member map that shows where a member lives, type of NEV, and a comment.  It is great to see where the members live and what they drive.
